Day 84: Applesauce Walnut White Chocolate Chip Cookies

It feels good to back to a schedule. The boys are settling into their school and sports schedules. I once again have time during the day to get caught up on my never ending home "To Do" list.

One of the items on my list has been to join Family Foodie at her weekly #SundaySupper chat. Earlier in the week, I saw this week's theme was apples. I had just made the most delicious Applesauce Walnut White Chocolate Cookies, and decided I was going to make sure this was the week I joined!

Printable Recipe

1 stick of butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 Cup of natural unsweetened applesauce
2 tbs water
1 cup of walnuts
1 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Preheat over to 350 degrees
Sift together dry ingredients-set aside
Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy
Add egg
Slowly stir in dry ingredients
Mix in applesauce and water
Add walnuts and white chocolate chips
Drop teaspoon sized dollops onto an ungreesed cookie sheet
Bake 12-15 minutes
Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute
Remove to cooling rack.
Enjoy!

These were best stored in an air tight container in the fridge.
