We have an adorable little neighbor that was turing two. At his birthday party his mother put together and amaysing candy bar. Pixi Sticks, m&m's, Recee's Pieces, Skittles...you name it, she had it! The candy bar was a huge hit. After the party, she very generously gave the left over candy to Noah, Dane and Ian.
As much as the boys would have loved to go crazy eating the candy, like when Willy Wonka brings the kids and their parents into the Pure Imagination Room for the first time, I suggested we turn the candy into cookies. They begruginly agreed.
Dane LOVES Skittles (also one of my favorites). Making a cookie that highlights his favorite candy made him VERY happy!

We had a wide varity of candy to choose from. Then it hit me, why just use one candy? So we used them all! I used a simple sugar cookie base then the boys added the candy of their choosing to the cookies.
